Georgetown / Liberty Hill

Santa Rita Ranch Center (Walmart Supercenter anchor)
Announced, 2027 OpeningA $100 million, 400,000-square-foot commercial development at the junction of Liberty Hill, Leander, and Georgetown, anchored by a 176,000-square-foot Walmart Supercenter designed to match Santa Rita Ranch's architectural character. The Walmart alone is expected to bring roughly 400 jobs. Anticipated opening is 2027 — worth knowing about now, but not a near-term amenity.
Wolf Ranch Town Center
Actively Filling InAlready the most built-out retail center among the tracked communities, and still adding tenants: Machi Sushi (all-you-can-eat sushi and hibachi) and Potbelly Sandwich Shop both opened in February 2026, joining First Watch and Rally House from earlier openings. This is the community amenity that's furthest from "someday" — it's functioning today.
Liberty Hill Crossing (Target-anchored)
Under ConstructionA large-format Target — 20,000 square feet bigger than a typical location, at 148,000 total — is under construction at US 183 and Seward Junction Loop, with additional retail and service tenants (including a planned nail salon/spa) filling in around it. Most relevant to Santa Rita Ranch and Bryson residents.

Dripping Springs
Affects: Belterra, Headwaters
Belterra Village
Established, Still the AnchorThe 93-acre mixed-use center built into Belterra itself remains the defining amenity for both Belterra and neighboring Headwaters — grocery (H-E-B), a movie theater, and a rotating restaurant lineup residents can reach without getting on US 290. This is the rare Austin-area case where "walkable retail" in a master plan's marketing is actually true on the ground.
Rice and Oak (downtown Dripping Springs)
Opened February 2026A new brick-and-mortar Thai restaurant from the owner of the Aroi Thai food truck that served the Belterra community for over a decade. A small addition, but a useful signal: downtown Dripping Springs' dining scene is growing independently of Belterra Village, giving residents a second real option a short drive away.

Buda / Kyle / San Marcos

The Corner on Main — Sunfield Entertainment Space
Opened November 2026A 7,000-square-foot entertainment venue branded directly with Sunfield, featuring indoor mini-golf, golf simulators, a sports bar, a food truck, and a dog-friendly beer garden with live outdoor music. This is a genuine on-the-ground amenity addition for Sunfield residents specifically, not a broader area development that happens to be nearby.
The Roundabout in Buda
Broke Ground October 2025A dining, retail, and trail-connected development in Buda, built through a public-private partnership with the city, targeting a late-2026 opening. Positioned to serve both Sunfield and Kissing Tree residents; local business groups have specifically cited it as filling a retail gap in Buda.
