Belterra is a 1,600-acre master-planned community in Dripping Springs (Hays County), in development since the mid-2000s and one of the largest and longest-running master plans in the Austin metro. Newer sections, including The Heights at Belterra, carry active new construction from Highland Homes, Taylor Morrison, David Weekley Homes, and Drees Custom Homes, generally priced from the $500s into the $700s+ for the newest phases. The community sits in the highly rated Dripping Springs ISD (A-rated by the Texas Education Agency), with Rooster Springs Elementary located on-site. Amenities include a resort-style swim complex, a recreation center, 400+ acres of green space across 12 parks, and the Belterra Village retail hub.
