Community overview

Bar W Ranch sits on 500 acres along the South San Gabriel River in north Leander, with more than a mile of river frontage, neighborhood parks, and hike-and-bike trails. At full build-out the community is expected to reach roughly 1,400 to 1,500 homes. Four builders are active: D.R. Horton, Brightland Homes (formerly Gehan Homes), Brohn Homes, and Tri Pointe Homes, giving it one of the widest builder rosters among tracked communities, and a notably wide price spread (community-wide reporting spans roughly $380K to over $1 million, though current listings from D.R. Horton and Brightland Homes (formerly Gehan Homes) run from the $440s). Students are zoned to Liberty Hill ISD's Rancho Sienna Elementary, Liberty Hill Middle, and Liberty Hill High. The community sits just off the H-E-B-anchored shopping center at Ronald Reagan Boulevard and Hwy. 29, shared with the neighboring Liberty Hill Crossing development already tracked under Santa Rita Ranch.
